4 Month Check-up

Today, I’m not happy. In fact, I’m very upset with Mommy and Daddy.

They took me to a place that smelt funny, had all kinds of people walking around in comfortable White and Blue outfits with cold metal things around their necks.

And then, while Mommy and Daddy watched, they stabbed me with 3 different needles! It really really hurt!

I cried, but only for a very short period. I don’t like to cry, it makes my face wet.

Afterwards, I didn’t feel very good. Daddy took me to Grandma Burmeister’s house and we cuddled and slept for a long time. That really helped me.

I now weight 14lbs 2oz, and I’m 24 ½ inches tall

Mommy is so proud of me, and Daddy just sat there and smiled. I don't know what the big deal was, I just ate some nasty tasting food.

I'm 4 Months Old!

Mommy and Daddy came to me today and said "Happy Birthday!" I just looked at them all confused. You see, my Birthday isn't for a long time still. But then they said to me that I have been with them for four months, and that this is my 1/3 of a year birthday...

So, I got all excited for gifts.

But I guess the 1/3 of a year birthday is the milk birthday. Which was pretty good just so you know.

After I had my Milk present, Mommy, Daddy and I took it easy and just hung out.

The Airplane Rocks!!!!

Have you ever had an Airplane from a Daddy?!?

I just did... and you have to try one if you haven't had one before. It was sooooo cool. I was bigger than everyone else. I liked that. But I don't get it, how many other really cool things are they hiding from me? I should ask my Grandma and Grandpa, they might know.

Otherwise I haven't been doing a lot. I've been working on rolling over, and I've been working on getting started with my crawling. But there has been this weird feeling that has been bothering my face lately. Mommy said that it is "Teething." Daddy called it "Teeth-thing." For some reason I think I should believe my Mommy more than my Daddy.

Oh and my Sister Stefanie is going to be done with school, so I get to see more of her. That makes me happy!

I went to the Como Zoo Today

Today Mommy and Daddy took me to a place called the Como Zoo! I don't understand why they haven't taken me there before today. It was so neat, I really liked it a lot. They had all kinds of things to see and do. But first things first. I saw some of my favorite Yellow flowers that Grandpa says are icky and I grabbed some right away. Do you like my new sunglasses?

Then we got to go and play in a place that they called a Japanesse Garden. I like the fishes swimming in the water! Mommy liked the fancy Trees, Daddy likes the waterfall. Some of the Trees smelt nice. I like the purple one.

Oh, did I mention that today was my first day in my new cool carry-pack? Daddy says that he got it for his birthday, but I don't think it will fit him. So that is why he is letting me use it. I think it is really relaxing. You should try one sometime. And those fancy flowers that are in the big warm white building are really boring compared to my Yellows. Mommy and Daddy liked them, but I decided to skip'em.

Then things got good, when we went to see the naughty Monkeys! They're not like the monkeys I have in my crib. These monkeys like to run around and play a lot more then mine do. I asked if I could take a monkey home with me so that I would have someone to play with at night. Daddy said yes, but Mommy said no. So Daddy and I were both sad.

I then got to see the biggest kitty cat I have every seen. Mommy said that I can't cuddle with him, but I think if they let me talk to him for a bit, he would let me sleep with him because he seems really nice and furry too.

Then Daddy said that we had to go and see his most favorite place when he was a little boy, so he took me to Seal Island. I saw a Seal swimming really fast UNDER water, and he didn't need to come up for air for a long time too. I wish I could swim like that when I take my bath. I like taking a bath, but I need to work on holding my breath like those seals.

Then Mommy and Daddy said that I had to go back home with them... but I wanted to stay. So I told Mommy that I could sleep with that big nice kitty cat tonight, but she wouldn't let me do that and we had to go.

So I made a deal with them. If I could go and play in the Yellows some more I would come home with them...

So we played in the Yellows!
